I still remember the day we arrived Baku on August 16, 2005 with our four suitcases. It felt only yesterday... Time has come to pack and move again and leave the things you are so accustomed with, and friends you feel so comfortable with, friends with whom you shared laughters (and tears), and jokes, and chats over coffees... Here is to thank all of you who make our family life in Baku a wonderful and memorable one. See you in Tripoli (who knows).
No caravans and camels... and there were only three caravan serai left from Tasken to Bukhara. No women and children caring buckets of water to fill the well. What used to be a dirt road is now a straight line of fast moving cars. My eyes glued to the countless beauty of intricate patterns, the stars and intriguing symbols, the design so harmonious, the work of selected artisans. While my foot climbed up the mausoleum staircase, my steps took me deeper down to the depth of history dated back to the time unknown to my soul.
I finaly made it today to invite many friends and family to join Vox. I am learning from my mistake for failing to keep intouch with friends (who according to Gary Fong, is the only thing in life that is not affected by recession). I don't want to loose any more friends just because I just didn't make enough time to write. I am hoping to see lots of Replies... Common guys, just hit that Reply and Accept button. You can't find any better place to blog than this one (of course with one condition, that is, you do want to keep intouch with me :-)
Love, Iin
